Metal Detectable Tape

FDA-compliant metal detectable adhesive tape is suitable for applications that require the use of heat-sealing equipment in conjunction with a metal detector to identify tape failures. Used for packaging medical disposable products, ANROB 254-MDT metal detectable tape features a PTFE-glass fabric with a foil backing and a silicone adhesive, providing a nonstick surface to heat seal against. Offering protection against worn tape falling into a polybag or a package and going undetected, the foil-backed PTFE tape can be identified using a metal detector before the package leaves the manufacturer’s or converter’s facility.
