Sterilization-Grade Medical Papers

A manufacturer of siliconized release liners and specialty papers for the medical device industry offers a pair of specialty papers for sterilization. Lopawhite Medi and Lopaflex Medi sterilization-grade papers, developed for sterile medical and healthcare product packaging applications, are designed to meet industry requirements for cleanliness, strength, porosity, wet strength, and water absorption. Both are machine-glazed  and feature a weight in the range of 60–70 g/m2. Lopawhite is noncalendered, while Lopaflex is a calendered option. The basic papers are suitable for sterilization with ethylene oxide or by irradiation, while each comes in an S range that tolerates steam sterilization processes.
