Testing Equipment

Testing data provided by radial-force gauge-testing equipment can be used for regulatory submissions, preclinical trial testing, competitive product testing, and product design. The MSI RX 550/650 testing equipment integrates a high-speed data-acquisition system to increase the repeatability and reproducibility of testing data. The equipment is designed to measure and record radial stiffness, hoop strength, radial reactive force during compression, and chronic outward force during expansion and compression of interventional devices, including: balloon-expandable stents, self-expanding stents, stent-graft products, collagen plugs, embolic filters, vena cava filters, and other radially expanding intravascular products. The testing equipment uses an encoder for diameter accuracy, a linear actuator for activation, and
