Peregrine 300 - NEW 2-axis Optical and Video measuring system.
New Milford, CT: Vision Engineering introduces the Peregrine 300 – the NEW 2-axis optical and video measuring system. The Peregrine is an outstanding system with both optical and video measuring capabilities using the NEW Quadra-Chek 300 touch-screen video microprocessor.
Optical measurement is carried out by using the Dynascope™ head for measurement of optically difficult and complex parts, while video measurement allows for easy measurement of simple, high contrast features.
Designed to enable quick, accurate, repeatable measurement on multiple planes in the X and Y axis, the Peregrine offers a variety of measuring capabilities – either by the high resolution optical Dynascope image or the flexible live video image. The advantage of both optical and video measuring is versatility delivering highly accurate measurement of complex or low contrast features, that would otherwise be difficult to measure, or rapid measurement of simpler features with the video measuring feature. Either way the Peregrine offers a unique solution for quality processes on the shop floor where a variety of components are being measured in two dimensions – and the ability to switch back and forth between the optical and video operation.
Comprehensive video tools are accessed by a video dedicated microprocessor QC300 employing the latest touch screen technology, with a unique simplified one touch tool teach facility. The QC300 display can be easily switched to DRO layout for single point feature measurement.
The Peregrine utilizes a 150mm x 100mm (6" X 4") XY measuring stage which is robust and yet requires little effort to maneuver due to the mechanically smooth operation of the system.
The Peregrine is designed for fast measurement of parts that have poor optical clarity and contrast, yet competitively priced with a very good price/performance ratio.
