Value Plastics Announces Formation of Asian Subsidiary
As of January 18, 2008, Value Plastics announces the establishment of Value Plastics (Asia Pacific) Co., Ltd. This company will be the focus of Value Plastics' increasing efforts to develop the rapidly-growing markets for its products in Asia.
Bruce Williams, CEO of Value Plastics, said, "Due to substantial growth rates, we naturally paid close attention to the Asia Pacific region. This new business entity is the natural result of the success of our efforts."
This new location, under the leadership of Regional Director Sam Chiu, will work with all Value Plastics' Asia Pacific customers in a region stretching from Japan to India and from China to Australia and New Zealand. All Value Plastics sales and marketing support activities, except order entry, will be centralized in this office. Local warehousing and order fulfillment will be considered at a future date.
The new entity is registered in Hong Kong, providing a convenient location and the availability of support services. Mr. Chiu has worked with Value Plastics since 2006. Sam Chiu said, "This is, along with publishing a full-line catalog in Mandarin, an important step for Value Plastics' development of the Asia Pacific Region. Having a corporate entity helps Asian customers understand that Value Plastics is truly committed to supporting their business objectives with local service."
