Specialty Hand Tool Manufacturer in Northern California Responds to Needs of Medical Device Makers Worldwide
July 5, 2006 – Tronex Technology, Inc. is expanding its manufacturing operations in Fairfield, California to meet growing demand from medical device makers worldwide.
Founded in 1982 to serve the electronics industry, the company designed a new class of hand cutting tools for making medical devices, particularly devices used for coronary and vascular intervention.
Tronex precision hand cutting tools cut medical grade wire in austenitic stainless steels, Nitinol, Elgiloy, MP35N, platinum, and other hard, durable materials.
Tools made by Tronex Technology cut wires that are exceptionally fine, such as .002" (.05mm). Tronex Razor Flush® cutters cut medical wire extraordinarily flush and free of burrs.
Tronex has produced cutters of custom design, tools made of tungsten alloy, and tools with individual serial numbers.
All design and manufacturing operations for Tronex tools are performed at its headquarters in Northern California. Tronex cutters and pliers are used by medical device makers in USA, Europe, and Asia.
