Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Announces TYGONŽ S-95-E Tubing
Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics (SGPPL) has announced a branding name change for the previously released TygonŽ ECMO non-DEHP tubing, now referred to by its formulation number, TygonŽ S-95-E.
While the formulation remains the same, the commercial name has changed to comply with FDA suggestions for its broader use. TygonŽ S-95-E is an identical product to TygonŽ ECMO and will be its name for future reference and ordering.
TygonŽ S-95-E replaces TygonŽ S-65-HL tubing due to the discontinuation of the S-65 resin.
TygonŽ S-95-E is a non-DEHP tubing which is specifically designed for the demanding conditions of Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenations procedures and performs exceptionally well for kidney dialysis pumps, numerous other peristaltic pump applications and for blood and IV solutions.
The TygonŽ S-95-E has completed ISO 10993 testing, and the product is both FDA and USP Class VI compliant, to facilitate the validation process. TygonŽ S-95-E is made from highest quality materials and boasts low spallation and excellent pump life. Made from a biocompatible polymer material, TYGONŽ S-95-E is ideal for contact with blood, and withstands both EtO and Gamma sterilization.
