Spectra Medical was formed in 1995. Its founder, Tony Arrigo has extensive background in needle manufacture and several years ago began the introduction of specialty needles to Spectra's product line. In 2005, Spectra completed the acquisition of Avid Medical's OEM business and with that came an extensive customer base, some intellectual properties and several key operations personnel. Spectra's competition has created a opportunity to show that our deliveries can be on time, that their pricing is too high and acquisitions and consolidations may cause supply disruptions to key components.
