Remmele Engineering Demonstrates Operator Interface System for May Coating by Remmele Line at CPP 2006
St. Paul, Minnesota (October 27, 2006) Remmele Engineering, an industry leader in both standard and custom web handling and coating equipment, will demonstrate an Operator Interface System for their new May Coating by Remmele line during the upcoming CPP trade show in Chicago October 29 – November 2, 2006.
Remmele acquired May Coating Technologies from Acumeter Laboratories in 2005. May Coating by Remmele has now standardized on a user-friendly Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley Control Logix PLC system platform. This system features motion control, the ability to store a variety of recipes, and automated data and trends collection, offering clients an accurate, repeatable coating operation.
Remmele's system provides machine operators with the necessary tools to establish and control operating parameters for critical process variables such as line speed, tension, temperature and nip force.
"Remmele's intuitive, configurable HMI demonstrates our commitment to providing innovative and cost-effective solutions to our clients," said Terry Johnson, VP and Division Manager of Remmele Engineering. "Our system interface combines outstanding flexibility with comprehensive control, providing machine operators with an invaluable tool no matter how complex the project."
Stop by Booth 9644 in McCormick Place for more information and to receive a demonstration of the features and benefits of this cost effective, expandable Operator Interface System.
