PlasticWeld Systems, Inc. specializes in the highest quality equipment for the manufacturing of catheters and disposable products. Our proprietary HPS solid state RF generator provides the very precise control required for consistent, repeatable catheter end forms as required in today’s modern catheter manufacturing environment. Over 30 years of medical manufacturing experience has resulted in an advanced self contained system which surpasses the add-on construction of other tipforming systems. The stainless steel housing was designed for clean room usage and provides a one piece cabinet and tool platform the PLC control system and a touch screen interface process provide access for set up of operating parameters. All water cooled systems eliminate the cooling fans which can disturb sensitive clean room air flows, and stepless 0-100% power provides the ultimate in heat control to the forming tools.
The standard HPS-10 generators have ample power to form one, two or four catheters per cycle and if more power or more complex systems are needed, the HPS-20 and HPS-30 systems offer increased power and the same proprietary features and controls.
PlasticWeld's machines are used world wide and carry the CE mark for European requirements.
We routinely incorporate multiple functions such as tip and eye form, tip and drill and also provide feeding systems to load tubes into the tipformer, process the catheters and eject the finished catheters into a finished goods container, all without the need for an operator.
PlasticWeld Systems also supplies tipforming modules to some of the worlds leading machine integrators for incorporation into high speed automation systems. These systems use the same HPS series of power supplies and advanced tooling systems which PlasticWeld routinely uses for the standard line of equipment.
All equipment and tooling is manufactured in-house on modern CNC and EDM equipment. We also have a nickel plating line for those customers that utilize nickel dies in their process.
