Multisorb is committed to packaging innovation in Diagnostics
Business Development Leader Robert J. Sabdo, Sr. brings experience and expertise to diagnostics.
BUFFALO, NEW YORK (March 19, 2007) Multisorb Technologies, the leading manufacturer of sorbent, desiccant and oxygen absorbing technologies, has announced the promotion of Robert Sabdo Sr. to the position of Business Development Leader for Diagnostics and Medical Devices. In his new role, Bob will be responsible for the worldwide sales and market development in the diagnostic and medical device industries.
Multisorb recognized the challenge in taking care of current customers and meeting the needs of new clients in the demanding industries of diagnostics and medical devices. Bob is one of Multisorb's most experienced people and has previously worked with diagnostic and medical device companies. As Multisorb's customers develop into global organizations, Multisorb is also taking a global approach to meeting their needs.
Bob started at Multisorb in 1997, bringing with him an extensive sales and package engineering background. His experience includes Philips Joanna, where he was the worldwide sales manager for their specialty water quenched film products. He also sold polypropylene for both Bemis' Curwood division and for Hercules. At the start of his career, Bob was a packaging engineer for Johnson & Johnson and Armour Dial, where he implemented new, unique, and cost-effective packaging solutions.
Bob holds a B.S. from Michigan State University in Packaging Science and is a past member of the Michigan State School of Packaging Alumni Board. He is a member of the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IOPP), where he currently holds the title of AmeriStar Judge. He is also a member of the Society of Information Displays and the Surface Mounted Technology Association.
