IMH Screened Orifice
The Lee Company's new IMH Screened Orifice is an economical, highly accurate miniature restrictor specifically designed for medical applications. The restrictor is preinstalled in a male to female luer adaptor and features an integral safety screen to protect the orifice from contamination. The orifice and screen are 300 Series stainless steel and the adaptor is made of medical grade polypropylene.
Designed for both liquid and gas applications, the orifices are available in 18 standard flow rates and are 100% flow tested on either water or nitrogen to ensure that each part is within +/-5% of its nominal flow rate. This provides far more accuracy than orifices specified by hole tolerances. Carefully designed using superior technology, each and every restrictor offers uniform, consistent flow performance.
The Lee LabKit
The Lee LabKit™ is an integrated fluidic module, ideal for liquid handling applications. Available in eight standard configurations, the pre-plumbed LabKit incorporates Lee's high resolution LPV variable volume pumps (250 or 750 μL) and miniature precision valves (2 or 3-way models). The standard kits include an LPV pump, valving, drive electronics, two reservoirs and all the necessary tubing.
The pumps and valves feature a long cycle life (5 million cycles minimum) and a CV of only .04%. The LabKit can be configured for different dispense ranges, higher resolution dispenses and synchronized multiple pump operation.
High-Speed Solenoid Valves for Micro-Dispensing
The Lee VHS Series Micro-Dispense Valve is a high-speed (1,200 Hz), two-way solenoid valve designed for applications that require micro to nano-liter dispense volumes. The small size (0.22" diameter) allows placement of the valve directly over the individual wells of standard 96 well micro-titer plates.
The VHS Micro-Dispense valve features a PFE (KALREZ®) seal and is offered in several porting configurations. The MINSTAC inlet allows a reliable connection to Teflon tubing and the small port outlet allows direct aspiration from titer wells or direct dispense from the reagent source.
Press-In Check Valves
The CCPI Series Press-In Chek,® is a miniature cartridge-style check valve specifically designed for installation into plastics. Available in 5.5 mm and 8 mm diameters, Lee's Press-In Chek features a robust barbed design. This unique design allows easy installation, provides retention and prevents any by-pass leakage around the valve. Each valve is 100% tested for flow, leakage and cracking pressure to ensure consistent long-term performance.
The Press-In Chek is offered in a range of cracking pressures from 0 - 72.5 psid and is compatible with most fluids.
