Precision Molder and Contract Manufacturer Announces Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) Executives
Bethel, VT., USA – June 3, 2008
Global precision molder and contract manufacturer GW Plastics today announced their new executive management team of Mark Hammond and Jeff Hazen for GW Silicones. Mr. Hammond and Mr. Hazen come to GW Silicones from ENGEL Canada, where they were responsible for LSR injection molding machine sales and technical support.
Mr. Hammond joins the Company as GW Silicones' General Manager. Mark's responsibilities include overseeing sales, marketing and strategic business planning for the division. Mr. Hazen has joined the Company as GW Silicones' Technical Manager. Jeff's responsibilities include managing all engineering and manufacturing areas of GW Silicones.
Headquartered at the GW Plastics technology campus in Royalton, Vermont, GW Silicones offers highly-automated, Class-Eight clean-room molding, as well as quick turnaround prototype and production mold building, in addition to clean-room assembly services. GW Silicones' primary focus is on medical device and life science markets with an emphasis on the cost-effective combination of thermoplastics and liquid silicone to provide unique application solutions not often seen in the marketplace.
