Andy Bachmann of Dymax Corporation to Receive CDMA Award for Executive Excellence

May 31, 2007 — At their 2007 Spring Meeting, the Commercial Development & Marketing Association (CDMA) will honor Andrew G. Bachmann, founder and Chairman of the DYMAX Corporation, with the Award for Executive Excellence. The award is given annually to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution in the field of commercial development and marketing in the chemical and allied industries. Past recipients of this award include Peter Young, President, Young & Partners, LLC; Tom Connelly, Jr., Senior VP & Chief Science & Technology Officer, DuPont; and Dr. Carl Jennings, President, NAFTA Region 1, BASF Corp. The CDMA, whose mission is to be the forum for networking, learning, and sharing best practices in business development and marketing for industries with a chemical platform, is dedicated to helping their members grow their companies.
Mr. Bachmann, Chairman of the Board at DYMAX, grew the company from an invention developed in a basement laboratory to a global supplier of structural adhesives, coatings, encapsulants, and UV curing equipment widely used in the medical, aerospace and electronic industries. The products he and his company created provide design and manufacturing engineers with tools to dramatically improve manufacturing efficiency and lower their costs. Mr. Bachmann is also a past recipient of the Golden C Award, bestowed by the Commercial Development Association in acknowledgement of his outstanding accomplishments in this field.
