ATEK MEDICAL EXTENDS PACKAGING CAPABILITIES
MINNEAPOLIS (October 19, 2006) – ATEK Medical Manufacturing announces the extension of their product service offerings to the medical device and healthcare communities to include both sterile and non-sterile packaging solutions. ATEK's packaging capabilities include a wide variety of flexible and rigid packaging materials. ATEK's equipment capabilities include constant heat bar sealer, medical tray sealers, and H/F/F/S machines all located in one of many certified ISO class 7 (10,000) clean rooms. The company is co-located next door to a 4-chamber ETO sterilization services provider for quicker turnaround.
"We are being asked more and more by medical OEM's to assume responsibility for their packaging needs," said Dave Mabie, vice president of business development. "Until now, we have provided packaging services only for the devices we manufacture. Offering specific packaging services in addition to our manufacturing business is a natural extension for ATEK, and allows us to serve additional customers with expert solutions."
