New PharmaFocus™ Tubing Designed Specifically for the Pharmaceutical Marketplace
CARPINTERIA, California, February 28, 2006 – Helix Medical, Inc., a global leader in the extrusion, molding, and assembly of quality platinum-cured silicone products, has announced the worldwide launch of its new PharmaFocus™ Tubing line. The PharmaFocus Tubing is intended for use by Pharmaceutical companies who are looking for reliable yet cost-effective tubing.
The platinum-cured silicone elastomer used for our PharmaFocus tubing has been designed specifically to fit the needs of the pharmaceutical marketplace. This silicone undergoes a battery of biocompatibility tests appropriate for pharmaceutical applications, eliminating the costly extended implant studies typically performed on biomedical grade silicones.
