ODU-USA, Inc., an international manufacturer of a wide range of interconnect products, announces the release of the high quality, MINISNAP PC (Plastic Connector) for medical OEM electronics.

The MINISNAP PC is an ideal solution for many critical medical applications. Its lightweight and touch-proof features makes it ideal for use in such medical systems as patient monitoring devices or defibrillators. The connectors are autoclavable and are chemical resistant to most other sterilization processes. The MINISNAP PC is available with EMI protection and in a watertight (IP68) version. Plugs and receptacles come in three sizes and can accept the contact inserts with machined contacts from the metal MINISNAP line. Some new contact inserts are offered with stamped contacts for extremely cost-effective connector solutions. Receptacles can be custom-designed for disposable applications.

ODU’s reliable and easy to operate precision push-pull locking system offers excellent plug-receptacle holding forces and allows connector mating even in hard to reach areas. The MINISNAP PC is intermateable with the ODU F Series metal connectors and other industry-standard connectors. Delivery for standard connectors is from stock, 6-8 weeks ARO for Custom Connectors.
