This month, medical device manufacturers and their packaging suppliers will head north to MD&M Minneapolis. The trade show will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center October 22– 23, with a conference beginning October 21.
Vendors will demonstrate new medical packaging materials, equipment, and sterilization technologies—including EtO, electron, gamma, and steam—and equipment and supplies for cleanroom environments.
For packaging professionals, several industry experts will present a talk during the conference’s opening day. The first half of the day features the discussion “Materials Review and Applications.” Karen Greene of DDL, Gary Hawkins of Eastman Chemical Company, and Jason Crosby of Plastic Ingenuity Inc. will each give presentations drawing on their experience. In the second half of the day, during “Real World Techniques and Applications,” the audience will hear from Curt Larsen of Spartan Design Group, Nick Fotis of Cardinal Health, Lora Keena of Oliver Medical, and Karen Polkinghorne and Paul F. Herman of DuPont.
