A supplier of vacuum system components and vacuum material-handling equipment features a 3-D modeling capability on its Web site. A button that reads “2D/3D CAD Files” located at the top of the home page links users to a 3-D CAD library powered by 3DPartStream.net. The library allows users to search parts using several criteria, select parts and configure systems, view 3-D models and 2-D drawings, and download and insert configurations directly into their own CAD systems. By clicking on the literature icon at the bottom of the company’s home page, users can access PDFs of catalogs and brochures that include product specifications, pictures, diagrams, and component accessories.

Users can view information on the company’s range of products for coding and marking applications, label replacement, and anticounterfeiting, as well as the company’s history. The company invites investors to log in to set up confidential discussions on secure areas of the site, and license partners can access product downloads and information on DataLase-hosted training sessions.
