A company has redesigned its aluminum framing e-commerce Web site. Three main links allow the user to browse the company’s entire product catalog with metric and inch products separated, view information on the company’s 24-hour delivery program, or view the aluminum-framing catalog with downloadable PDF files. Now easier to use and navigate, the site offers detailed descriptions of the company’s products, specifically a new product that offers a new approach to controlling access to hazardous machinery and equipment. This modular access and control system for machinery guarding applications enables a selection of modules, such as mechanical-trapped key interlocks, and electrical safety gate-switch interlocks to be integrated into one unit. In addition, the site contains information on this product’s trapped-key interlocking feature, applicable to any industry where it is essential that all energy sources are isolated before gaining access to machinery.
