Frank A. Hasman has joined Howell Packaging (Elmira, NY) as a sales representative. Hasman has worked in the packaging industry for 33 years, and has a BA in marketing and sales from Fordham University in New York City. He will work at Howell’s Suffern, NY office.
New England Machinery Inc. (Bradenton, FL) has hired Luis Miguel Garibay and Jorge Brito as sales representatives for its Mexican territories. Garibay will represent the company’s products in northern Mexico, and Brito will work in the central and southern regions of the country.
New Jersey Packaging (Fairfield, NJ) has announced the hiring of Narendra Srivatsa as business development manager, brand authentication. Srivatsa spent the previous 15 years with International Paper. This new position was created to address the needs of the company’s customers in dealing with counterfeit drugs.
Waslow (St. Louis) has hired John Gross as director of operations for the company’s facility in Hannibal, MO. In this role, he will be responsible for the tubular, process, and multicell and thick-film business.
Rovema Packaging Machines (Lawrenceville, GA) has promoted David Hart to regional sales manager for the Southwest territory. Hart, who had worked for the company’s inside sales group since joining in 2000, previously worked for Maxxis International. In addition, Rovema has hired Stephanie Striplin and Nathale Rothman to further aid its inside sales group.
Alga Plastics (Cranston, RI) has hired Lewis Ridgeway as new business development manager. Ridgeway was previously eastern regional sales manager for the healthcare division of Nypro Inc. He is also a member of the American Plastics Society. In addition, Alga has hired Peter Behn as industry manager, electronics. Behn will manage sales and develop new business for the company.
