MT2500
A toolless-changeover thermoforming machine is designed to automate packaging of such medical devices as syringes, catheters, gowns, and tubing sets. The machine allows for production of different pack sizes without having to change over the seal tooling. The design of the MT2500 may be beneficial to companies with multiple products that previously would have needed to purchase extra tooling sets to accommodate each product. The system can also handle multiple packs in which products are combined into one pack but segregated within the pack. The machine can be changed over to a new product or to multiple packs in minutes simply by selecting a preprogrammed setting on the touch screen. Additional product sizes are accommodated by incorporating an independent cross-seal bar and longitudinal bars in combination with the platen seal station.
