Excelerator
![]() |
An automated replenishing system produces air pillows on demand. The Excelerator is an accessory to the Airplus Excel system, which uses ambient air and includes a control panel with automatic mode that allows sensors to trigger an automatic refill when required. This eliminates operator input. Airplus Excel produces air pillows in several standard lengths and widths. The resulting low-density polyethylene air pillows are lightweight, reusable, and recyclable. Airplus cushioning systems are suitable for many applications, including void fill and cushioning, corner pads, edge protectors, block and brace, end caps, and dunnage.

Box Liner
A two-piece durable liner turns an ordinary cardboard box into a lightweight cooler for shipping perishable items. The box liner is manufactured with thermal insulating materials that provide high-efficiency performance for a wide range of packaging applications. It maintains temperature ranges and inhibits odor transfer. It also stops heat transfer by radiation. The liners are resistant to fungi, mold, and mildew. They are thin and lightweight and offer protective cushioning. Reflectix

Cryogenic Shippers
A company introduces two models of cryogenic liquid-nitrogen dry-vapor shippers. The CryogenicShipper-DG model safely transports diagnostic specimens; the CryogenicShipper-DS model ships infectious substances. New developments in material technologies enable cryogenic shippers to store and transport specimens and dangerous goods at or below –150°C for up to 16 days, depending on conditions. The single-unit shippers ensure specimens stay at their proper temperature without being damaged from crystallization when –80°C isn’t cold enough. The cryogenic shippers use a design that requires no exterior packaging. This eliminates the need for a separate mushroom cap, typically used to over-package liquid-nitrogen storage vessels. Both models are engineered to prevent leaks with a tip-tolerant design and patented screw cap that seals in residual liquid nitrogen yet allows vapor to vent. Each has the capability to be fully charged in about four hours, reducing turnaround times when preparing for shipments.
