Filling machines are equipped to handle metal, plastic, and laminated tubes.

Tube Fillers
A company has introduced a line of tube fillers for metal, polyethylene, and laminated tubes. Three models, with speeds of up to 60, 80, or 100 tubes per minute, are available. The fillers feature toolless changeover, PLC controls with color touch screen, and a wide range of options. All mechanical devices are conveniently located in a vertical cabinet at one end of the machine, allowing maintenance personnel easy access while standing or kneeling. Construction is stainless-steel-clad aluminum. With dosing accuracy of ±1% and bottom-up filling, both dosing and filling are adjustable while the machine is running. Centrair
A semiautomatic pneumatic filler has a head design that handles both liquids and creams. Changeover can be achieved via a single tool, and fittings are mainly toolless. There is a built-in filter regulator and volumes are easily set by the operator via a digital counter. The machine's casing has been designed to exclude flat surfaces where possible, which protects the machine from items being rested on its top, leading to spillages. The frame is constructed from stainless steel, and all contact parts are made from 316L- grade stainless steel, PTFE, or Viton. The pneumatics are lubricant-free, and the hopper has triclover fittings for added cleanliness. The Centrair will be available either as a bench-mounted unit, or with a trolley.
