AdvaMed—the Advanced Medical Technology Association—is the largest medical technology trade organization in the world. Headquartered in Washington, DC, it represents more than 1100 manufacturers of medical devices, diagnostic products, and medical information systems. AdvaMed members manufacture 90% of the $71 billion worth of healthcare technology products purchased in the United States each year, and produce more than half of the approximately $175 billion in medtech goods sold annually worldwide.
