Keith E. Brauer has served as vice president and chief financial officer of Guidant Corp. (Indianapolis) since July 1994. In addition to this role, Brauer is also responsible for information systems and for Guidant's business development organization, Compass. He began his career as an associate financial analyst for international operations at Eli Lilly and Co. Craig W. Carlson is chief operating officer, chief financial officer, and senior vice president at Cygnus Inc.
