Start-up medtech companies often face the dilemma of when to launch a public relations campaign. Following are five prerequisites or milestones that should be achieved before undertaking a PR plan.

  • Start-up management team.
  • Top-flight clinicians to form a scientific advisory board.
  • Initial round of financing.
  • Technology with demonstrated proof-of-concept.
