Prent to Open Denmark Thermoform Packaging Facility

Prent Corp., a supplier of custom medical thermoform packaging headquartered in Janesville, Wisconsin, USA, has begun construction of a new facility in Holbaek, Denmark. The company is expanding into Europe “to meet customer requests for global suppliers,” says Joseph Pregont, Prent President and CEO. “Several of our current customers have expressed great interest in Prent completing the global supply chain. Our Denmark facility will give us direct manufacturing in Europe to meet the needs of global customers,” adds Pregont.
Prent currently operates five thermoform packaging facilities around the world, including in China, Malaysia, Puerto Rico and two facilities in the United States.
Construction on the new building is expected to be completed by late 2009. Described as a comprehensive design-through-production thermoforming facility with Class 100 000 cleanrooms, the plant will include capabilities for product development, design, tool engineering and tool building.
