Guidelines for Submitting Product Information to MPMN

Many editorial opportunities are available in every issue of Medical Product Manufacturing News. The Products & Services and New Literature sections comprise information submitted by suppliers and service providers, usually in the form of a press release. Press releases announcing a new product, service, or catalog should be at least 100 words in length, have a release date, and include a photograph (preferably color). The release should focus on applications specific to the medical product manufacturing industry. Include--where applicable--information on product specifications and dimensions, capabilities, tolerances, and other relevant facts.

The Spotlight feature is a two-page, four-color spread highlighting a specific category of product or service. To be considered for inclusion in a particular Spotlight, send a 100-word press release and a color photograph one month prior to the issue’s closing date. The Hotline features the most innovative new materials, components, equipment and services available to medical product manufacturers. To be considered for inclusion in the Hotline, submit a 200-word press release and a color photograph.

The Profile section features real-world case histories that detail how a medical device company worked successfully with an outside supplier, designer, or service-provider. Contact the editorial staff for more information on how to submit a story for these features.

Buyers Guides are published in most issues during the year and provide convenient and comprehensive sourcing information. The monthly buyers guides supplement the Annual Buyers Guide Issue, published in December. The Annual Buyers Guide lists more than 3000 suppliers and service providers in over 300 specific categories. To be included in either the monthly buyers guides or the Annual Buyers Guide Issue, contact the editorial staff and ask to be sent a listing form.
