About MEM

Medical Electronics Manufacturing is a semiannual magazine written exclusively for engineers and designers of medical electronic devices. The goal of MEM is to help industry professionals develop, design, and manufacture medical products that comply with complex and demanding regulations and market requirements. With that in mind, MEM provides articles on a full range of design and engineering issues, including electromagnetic compatibility, reliability, testing, regulatory requirements, new technologies, and component selection.

MEM is the only publication of its kind dedicated exclusively to the medical electronics market. Valued at about $60 billion, medical electronics is the largest single segment of the medical device industry. MEM is also the official sponsor of the Electronics West, Electronics New England, and Electronics Midwest. MEM's circulation represents key buyers and decision makers from every area of medical electronics manufacturing. Readers are professional personnel in medical electronic product design, development, manufacturing, quality assurance, purchasing and procurement, and corporate management. Worldwide circulation is approximately 25,000.

Both the spring and fall issues of MEM feature a full range of coverage on the latest technologies and critical issues affecting medical electronics designers. Each issue includes a Product Showcase that features products and services that are critical to medical electronics manufacturers. Readers refer to it repeatedly as they make purchasing decisions throughout the year.
