MARKER BAND SWAGING EQUIPMENT

The Marker Band Swaging equipment from MSI utilizes the principles of the MSI segmental compression mechanism and will likely prove to be the evolution of swaging technology.  Integral to the MSI swaging equipment is the use of flexures, or flexible members that guide motion, rather than a set of dies, shims, backers, rollers or spindles.  In addition to swaging, the MSI equipment will automatically and precisely position the bands eliminating the need for operator hand positioning.
