Cryogenic deflashing and deburring systems
CDS designs and builds cryogenic deflashing and deburring systems for plastics, rubber and metal. The systems include the SB-10 table top system; SSB-12, SSB-16 and SSB 30 upright, free standing systems; continuous deflashing machines; and custom designed deflashing and deburring machines. The SSB models feature the company’s state of the art programmable computer with memory capacity for up to 9999 on board programs for the selection of cycle parameters such as temperature, time, tumble speed and media velocity. Units are constructed with a stainless steel inner blast chamber fully insulated with rigid polyurethane foam. Liquid nitrogen consumption is significantly reduced by decreasing cool down time and steady state heat loss.

Laser micromachining
MeKo is a contract manufacturer specialised in laser micromachining. The company provides laser cutting of materials such as steel, aluminium, copper, ceramics and NiTi with tolerances of ±0.005 08 mm (±0.0002 in.). Compact precision profiler for thin sheet
ES Technology has designed a compact precision profiler for thin sheet metal including stainless steel, Titanium, aluminium, gold, silver and brass. ES-CUT150 is capable of cutting material up to 5 mm thick, and its 150 W pulsed YAG laser can be configured to produce a kerf width of 18 µm, reportedly enabling high precision cutting and profiling with minimal burr formation.
