Drives and Control Handbook

The Institution of Engineering and Technology has published a second edition of the The Control Techniques Drives and Control Handbook. The handbook replaces the previous edition published in 2001. Written by Professor Bill Drury, the handbook provides practical information for industrial and drives engineers and is a reference book for those entering the drives and controls industry. The 750 page book includes sections on the basics of electromagnetic and motor theory, power semiconductors, functional safety and control, and has been redesigned into four parts to make it easier to read.
