MEDTEC UK 2009 is on track to be another success after last year’s event saw visitors increase by 30%. Guy Fletcher, Workshop Manager at United Surgical Systems, attended MEDTEC UK 2008 and said, “The show is perfect because just about everyone is there. Walking around the hall opens your mind to thinking about new ideas or approaches to old problems.”

The programme has been designed using extensive industry input so that it delivers the latest information on a variety of timely issues facing the device industry.
Advances in manufacturing
MEDTEC UK is part of Advanced Manufacturing UK 2009 (www.advancedmanufacturinguk.com) and is collocated with six other shows:
3C Contamination Control and Clean Room Products, the must-attend event for protection and prevention of particle infection to personnel, products or the environment. A series of free seminars will also be held.
Mtec Sensors, Measurement and Instrumentation, an event dedicated to instruments and techniques for practical measurement applications.
Machine Building and Automation, the event for products, systems, components and services utilised by the machine building industry. The show will incorporate a new automation element featuring robotics, custom automation solutions and components used to automate manufacturing industries.
