EDITORIAL ADVISORY BOARD
Joel Gorski is director, R&D, at NAMSA (Northwood, OH). He holds a BS in toxicology from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (pka Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science) and a PhD in toxicology from the University of Kansas Medical Center. He joined NAMSA in 1988 and served as staff scientist, manager of toxicology, corporate manager of new technology, director of products business unit, and director of business development before assuming his current position as director of research and development. Mr. Gorski is the cochair of two AAMI working groups (Chemical Indicators since 1996 and Resistometers since 1999) and participates on several other AAMI sterilization and biocompatibility standards committees. He is a member expert to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for both the Biological and Chemical Indicator Working Groups. He is a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee for Rocket Ventures, a program of the Regional Growth Partnership in the state of Ohio. He has served for several years on the NAMSA board of directors and has numerous abstracts, publications, and patents. Mr. Gorski has been a member of the MD&DI Editorial Advisory Board since 2006.
