Capitol Hill Veteran Tapped for AdvaMed’s Government Affairs
Julie Cohen has been selected by AdvaMed to serve as its vice president of government affairs. Cohen was previously the staff director for the Senate Aging Committee and has spent more than 11 years on Capitol Hill. Her main area of efforts with AdvaMed will be focused in federal advocacy with Congress and the administration.
“Cohen’s experience working on Capitol Hill on behalf of our aging population brings a new element to AdvaMed’s advocacy group,” said Amy Jansen Cunniffe, director of government affairs staff, in the trade association’s announcement.
