Balancing the Equation

Each of the pricing factors is important individually. However, the key to a successful strategy is to consider how each element in the pricing algorithm relates to the others and to identify where they intersect. Understanding the interaction of all the factors requires a delicate balancing act between the three main participants in the process: the manufacturer, the provider, and the payer.

Projected reimbursement from payers and manufacturer price greatly affect whether a healthcare provider buys a certain device.
