Clinical Lab Expo Preview
Exhibitors in the OEM Pavilion included OEM supplier companies offering components for IVD products and systems.
This year’s Clinical Lab Expo was held at the McCormick Place Convention Center on July 21-23. Attendees saw more products in more clinical lab disciplines than at any other conference and expo.
International Pavilion
As the international attendance of the AACC Annual Meeting grew, so did the number of international exhibitors. This gave attendees a chance to see what products are available to labs around the world. The Clinical Lab Expo is the largest international marketplace for the clinical laboratory community this year.
Special Sections for Special Products
In the Point-of-Care Testing and Lab Automation/Robotics/Informatics areas, attendees found a number of exhibitors offering specialized products and services. The OEM, Biotech, and Research sections of the expo made it easy for product designers and scientists to find the products and services they need for product development and research.
In the OEM Pavilion, attendees were also ble to find components from OEM supplier companies for their new products and systems. Such areas included: contract manufacturing, R&D; biologicals such as antisera and antibodies; controls, calibrators, and reference materials; packaging and labeling, bar coding systems and scanners; separation, filtration, and purification technologies; substrates and membranes; custom design and assembly of electrical and mechanical components, marketing partners for manufactured systems and kits; computer hardware and software; regulatory, product design, and manufacturing consultants; communication technology, products, and services; liquid handling systems; and business systems and products.
