FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – BeamOne LLC is proud to announce that it has agreed to build a state-of-the-art electron beam sterilization facility in Costa Rica to serve that country’s medical device and pharmaceutical industries. BeamOne will build in the new Coyol Free Zone & Business Park now under construction in Alajuela, just outside of the capital city of San José. It is anticipated that the new Service Center will be on line in late 2008 and will join BeamOne’s existing network of facilities in California, Colorado, and Ohio in the U.S.

The Coyol Park will combine pleasing aesthetics with the technological requirements needed for business efficiency. Upon completion, it will encompass 268 acres of land including 25 acres of greenbelt and protected areas. The Park is 100% Costa Rican owned and is projected to provide nearly 30,000 jobs for the Costa Rican populace within 10 years.

“We are impressed with the successful growth and commitment of the medical device industry in Costa Rica, and the benefits of in-country sterilization services will be a substantial aid to continued growth. Manufacturers will now be able to deliver goods directly to the European and Asian markets without the cost and time required to ship to the U.S. for sterilization,” states Ray Calhoun, President and CEO of BeamOne.

“We have teamed with Coyol Park because of its impressive size and proactive management team. In addition, we felt very welcomed by the Costa Rican Minister of Foreign Trade,” added Calhoun.

According to Marco Vinicio Ruiz, Costa Rica’s Minister of Foreign Trade, “Having access to the sterilization process in Costa Rica will significantly reduce existing companies’ operational and production costs, with the additional benefit that they will be able to distribute their products directly from Costa Rica to important markets such as the United States, Europe, Canada, and others.”

“It will also strengthen the supplier base, since sterilization is the last step in the production process, and it will position the country even more favorably as a hub for medical companies”, he added.

For André Garnier, President of the Board of Directors of Coyol Park, BeamOne represents the quality of the enterprises that will operate in this compound, namely “high technology businesses with worldwide standards.”

“We are proud to work hand in hand with BeamOne, a company we strongly believe is going to impact the whole country in a positive way”, Garnier said.
