New Quality Manager added to Barger Packaging Quality Line Up

Barger Packaging has appointed Brian Konarski as its new Quality Manager. Over the past 17 years Mr. Konarski has been involved with Advanced Quality Management for Siemens VDO, an international supplier of automotive electronics. He has an under graduate degree from Ball State University and is a Certified ASQC engineer with additional training on supplier quality and process improvement.

“This important addition to our core management team further illustrates our commitment to continuous improvement in our process”, said Scott Duehmig, Barger Packaging’s General Manager. “Brian’s high compliance experiences will be a great asset to our existing quality initiatives and will enable us to expand our quality initiatives further in 2008. Our customers demand this type of engineering expertise from us and we are delivering.” Mr. Konarski will report direct directly to the General Manager in this new role. Barger Packaging, an affiliate of the Welch Packaging Group, provides sterile and non-sterile packaging solutions to the medical and pharmaceutical industries worldwide. The company, originally founded in 1887, is based in Elkhart, Ind.
