OGP To Introduce Innovative New SmartScope System At Quality Expo 2009

Optical Gaging Products, Inc. (OGP ®) announces it will unveil the newest member of its popular SmartScope ® family of multisensor metrology systems at Quality Expo 2009 in Chicago, September 25-27.

According to R. Stephen Flynn, president of OGP, “This new system fills a void not currently satisfied by any other product in our product line, or in the industry. Our global market studies show the need for a larger work envelope and combinations of sensor technologies available in our newest SmartScope system.”

OGP, a recognized leader in video and multisensor metrology for manufacturing quality control, sells thousands of its SmartScope® family of measuring systems to manufacturers of industrial, consumer, medical, pharmaceutical, automotive, and high technology products around the world.

“We are excited about the potential for this system which raises the bar in the field of multisensor metrology,” says Flynn. Like all OGP products, the new system will satisfy demanding requirements for precision dimensional metrology that is accurate, reliable, and easy to use.

Applications engineers will man the booth prepared to measure any samples customers bring with them.
