Exhibitor Testimonials

Six manufacturers (MATSUBO, MATSUSHIMA Machinery Lab., EXEN, FUJISAKI Electric, ACO, and NISSHIN Engineering) cooperatively exhibited at the AAAmachine 1200 square foot island booth. It was very successful! We received more new leads per exhibitor (229 leads) than we had at smaller individual booths. With the PTXi exhibition focused on the powder & bulk solids field, we expect more new attendees and more exhibitors from all over the US and the world in 2010.
--Dr. Carl Ishito, President, AAAmachine, Inc.

The quality of attendee at this show enabled Atlas Copco to make a very high quality leads list and to speak with several hundred people face to face, thus putting the Atlas Copco people and products through their technical paces.
--Paul Humphreys, VP Communications, Atlas Copco Compressors

It doesn’t get any better than this...The 2008 PTXi show not only provided a significant number of business leads for Ciba Expert Services, but we also secured several contracts while there. Event participation was great and consisted of a high percentage of decision makers. Overall a great investment for our firm!
--Dean Hamel, Head of Client Services, Ciba Corporation

We found this show to exceed our expectations in attendance and in the quality of potential customers. We especially found strong interest in our hygienic design diverter and rotary valves. Our goal was to gain exposure to potential customers in the food industry, and we feel we accomplished that goal. We are looking forward to the next show.
--Steve Broes, Business Unit Manager, Coperion Corporation

Our company obtained several quality leads at the 2008 P&BS Show held in Chicago, IL. We have at times received more leads, however, these are high quality leads. It appears this show will prove to be the best P&BS show we have ever attended. I also enjoyed the availability of a restaurant in which I could sit down, relax for a few minutes, and have a more healthful meal. The show has improved significantly since I first started attending.

Even from as far away as New Zealand, we recognized that the PTXi 08 Show was the bulk handling show to attend, and we were not disappointed. We wanted to create exposure for ourselves, make contacts in the industry, and gain interest from potential distributors. We were very pleased with the number of leads we received, and the organization of the show was very professional. The show was well attended by firms from different industries and various states and countries. We will certainly be seriously considering exhibiting at the next PTXi show in 2010.
--Judi Schwass, Admin/Marketing, DSH Systems Ltd

The Powder & Bulk Solids Show continues to provide us with an invaluable opportunity to meet with our most important customers and prospects. Also, the proximity of the Donald E. Stevens Convention Center to O’Hare International Airport and to the Rosemont CTA Blue Line station makes transportation far less of a hassle than at most other trade show venues.

The show is extremely well run and organized. The show hours are set up to allow exhibitors and attendees maximum time for interaction. The venue is very easily accessible, and the staff is extremely helpful. The leads are excellent and the relative cost of these leads is reasonably priced. It is a very good value for our marketing dollars!

We were pleased that so many potential customers visited the show and had the opportunity to look all the fine craftsmanship. It really helps prospective buyers to appreciate well designed equipment when they can look inside and can speak with an applications engineer. The Powder and Bulk Show is one of the most effective ways to showcase all our company’s capabilities, and we are looking forward to 2010.
--Greg Boyer, Marketing Manager, Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems

PTXi provided ample opportunities for exploring new business in the North American market. It also provided a platform to expand existing business in other related industries too, apart from bulk solids.

PTXi 2008 was an excellent show for K-Tron and Premier Pneumatics. We exceeded our goal for numbers of leads, and the quality of leads was very good. Our booth was consistently busy with prospects, and the majority of visitors to the booth reported that they currently have active projects. We had conducted aggressive pre-show marketing, including direct mail and an extensive email campaign, which included an invitation to come to our booth for a free gift. Over half of our leads came with invitation in hand, and most of these were qualified prospects. We talked to prospects from 38 states, several Canadian provinces, Mexico, India, Japan, Taiwan, Bahrain, and Trinidad. We look forward to working with Canon on the 2010 show. It is clear that Canon is open to suggestions and is committed to making sure the show is a success.
--Kathy Hunter, Director of Global Marketing, K-Tron Process Group

This trade show was one of the best in terms of attendee quality that we have experienced in many years. Serious buyers, with serious interest are the real measuring stick of any trade show, and PTXi was a huge success for our company.
--Thomas Hofman, Vice President, Material Transfer & Storage, Inc.

The PTXi Show was great! We truly enjoyed meeting with all the attendees and helping them with their screening solutions. We increased our qualified leads over 2006 and have already made great new contacts. The PTXi show brought a renewed spirit to the industry and our company.
--Scott Mazon, Marketing/Advertising, Midwestern Industries, Inc.

PTXi 2008 was a microcosm of the global powder and bulk solids and process industries, in terms of the wide variety of equipment and systems on display. For attendees this every-other-year exhibition and technology conference provides an excellent opportunity to review the “best of the best,” to assist with current problem solving, and to help attendees plan for process improvements that will drive future business growth.
--Joe Lewis, Vice President, Monitor Technologies LLC

PTXi 2008 offered us a great opportunity to talk to customers about how Plasma Coatings delivers on-site surface enhancements, such as release, corrosion resistance and wear resistance. The show was busy each day, which allowed us to talk to a lot of people about how our coating services would help their equipment run more efficiently.

I took some 600 photos of the booths for the forthcoming bulk-online Photo Gallery, and I talked to many exhibitors, quite a few of them good friends. All told, they confirmed that this was a good show, and that they would come back. We did not meet anyone who said that they would drop out in 2010. Nevertheless, you and we at the Powder/Bulk Portal must try all we can to increase the number of exhibitors, as well as visitors. I am sure we will succeed.
--Dr. Reinhard Wohlbier, CEO , The Powder/Bulk Portal

This has been another good show for us. Once again, we had the wonderful privilege to show our prospective clients our cutting-edge bagging technology. We are convinced that we will be able to solve many of the problems described by these prospective clients, as well as offering them the highest return on investment. We had approximately 100 visitors and at least 3 were extremely interested in making a purchase!
--Anthony Stelluti, Vice President, SK –Stelluti Kerr
