For those traveling lightly, the AirTrain JFK light-rail system links JFK’s 8 passenger terminals with the New York Subway System and the Long Island Rail Road’s Jamaica Station, which connects to Penn Station. A trip between JFK and Manhattan using AirTrain and city subways is expected to take approximately thirty-five minutes. La Guardia Airport

Newark Liberty Airport

AirTrain Newark Rail Service
For those traveling lightly, the AirTrain Newark Rail Service is a viable option. The AirTrain offers ground transportation between Newark Liberty International Airport and New York City. Free monorail service will run every three minutes between the airport terminals and the Newark rail station. From there, trains run two - four times each hour in each direction, and the 20-minute ride to/from Penn Station in Manhattan will cost considerably less than a taxi cab ride. Penn Station
Located on 7th Avenue approximately 5 blocks from the Javits Center. Complimentary shuttle service will be operated between the Javits Center and Penn Station (stop will be on 7th Avenue at 31st Street)—see schedule in this section. Grand Central Terminal
Located at 42nd Street and Park Avenue approximately 12 blocks from the Javits Center. Complimentary shuttle service will operate from 42nd street, west of Lexington Ave., to the Jacob K. Taxi Cabs
