Ferrotec introduces the EVM-9 Free Position Electron-Beam Evaporator Source, a new multi-pocket electron beam gun for thin film coating applications requiring independent positioning of the source within the vacuum chamber.

Especially designed for high rate deposition, the EVM-9 can be installed in any position the process requires. It incorporates our proven e-beam technology with efficient water cooling circuits and optimised magnetic field design. The integrated stepper motor allows total flexibility in position, and is accessable through side plates or the base plate allowing ease of location.

The EVM-9 is fully compatible with all Ferrotec power supplies and controllers.
