Booth 3927
IML System: ARBURG is showcasing an all-electric ALLROUNDER 570 A (220 ton) injection molding machine with an integrated high-speed in-mold labeling system (IML). The exhibit includes a two-cavity mold producing labeled containers with the IML technique. The IML system includes a horizontally operating side-entry robot which is designed for the highest performance and shortest overall cycle time of 2.8 seconds. The labels to be inserted are introduced in stacks to the system and are picked with a pneumatically operated separation unit and presented to the insertion end-of-arm tooling of the robot. The application demonstrates the combination of speed, precision and cost effective performance which is essential in the competitive world of technical packaging.

Booth 3715
ENGEL's liquid silicone micro molding system offers the precision of an electric injection unit combined with the flexibility of a tiebarless clamp design. A micro shot size, less than 1/2 gram, is being molded on an ENGEL e-vitory hybrid machine using a 12mm screw and check disc assembly specially-designed for LSR, guaranteeing the repeatability required in micro molding applications.
The machine, with a specially engineered platen which provides the flexibility to run small to large mold bases, has the capability to mold shot sizes up to 50cc with a simple barrel and screw changeover, allowing full utilization of the machine.
