XF3 completes the family of Cobar products based on Nihon Superior’s patented SN100C-alloy. SN100C has demonstrated superior long-term fatigue strength over silver-containing SAC-alloys. Completely free of silver, SN100C shines as the only true remedy against Cu-migration into the Sn regions of solder joints. With XF3, wetting on common metal surfaces is excellent, yielding bright shiny joints. It exhibits a robust printing window, printing at 150-200mm per second. SN100C-XF3 performs better in reducing voiding when compared to any SAC-alloy. SN100C-XF3 can be reflowed with an adequate process window. In most cases it can be a drop-in replacement for SAC-based products.

The drive to reduce VOC emissions is paramount in today’s society, and with EU regulations tightening, companies are becoming increasingly more aware of the effects and costs associated with high VOC containing products. Electrolube has responded to this by creating the market’s first Non VOC conformal coating, NVOC. NVOC is a polyurethane based coating which reacts with atmospheric moisture to produce a tough, flexible coating. It has similar processing parameters and drying times to solvent based coatings which enables an easier change to VOC free PCB protection without changing processing parameters.

The R100 is a high speed table top PCB router with built in dust extraction channels. This tool can be used to finish singulating tab routed PCB panels by manual operation. Two guide pins, one in back of the router bit and one in front of the router bit assure that the board will move past the router bit along the line of the routing channel. The front guide pin can be brought in and out from the tooling bit to match the tab size on the pcb. Rotating the guide pin positioning collet will let the operator match the curvature of the cutting path to that of a round PCB.

Kapton® labels (DuPont™ Kapton® polyimide film) are commonly used in harsh environment labeling applications, including printed circuit board (PCB) labeling. High temperatures common in PCB processing requires the high performance of Kapton® material. However, not all Kapton® labels are entirely the same.

Winco ID offers various Kapton® labels designed to print small, high resolution bar codes commonly found on PCB labels. These labels offer excellent print quality on printers up to 600 dpi (dots per inch), and are a good replacement for traditional Kapton® labels.
