Flexible packaging gets a health check

The future is looking healthy for Tendring Pacific following the introduction of the TME BT-1000 Automated Packaging Tester and The Solution Leak and Flow Tester into its range of products for the pharmaceutical and medical sector.

The testers are designed to perform highly sensitive, non-destructive testing of flexible packaging for both seal strength and leak detection. They analyse the seal and pack integrity of porous and non-porous materials, including Tyvek©, for the stresses of sterilization, transport, shelf-life and regular usage. Furthermore, leak testing gives complete assurance of non-porous packages and is also suitable for checking medical devices such as catheters, stents and orthopedic implants.

They have a user-friendly operation interface that allows for simple and repeatable testing. A security key lock provides access to stored data and test parameter settings. IQ, OQ and PQ validation is available for both testers and The Solution Leak and Flow Tester is CFR Part 11 Qualified.
