Reasons for Exhibiting

Over 230 exhibitors and 2600 engineers and specifiers were in attendance at the sixteenth MEDTEC UK show.  Both exhibitors and visitors alike declared the event an overwhelming success.

MEDTEC UK—Now co-located with 4 advanced manufacturing exhibitions

Following the success of the 2007 event, Canon Communications LLC, the organisers of MEDTEC, were able to acquire the exhibitions formerly owned and operated by Trident Exhibitions Ltd. And which have been held at the NEC at the same time as MEDTEC for a number of years.

The four exhibitions are extremely synergistic with MEDTEC and bringing them under sole ownership provides the opportunity to maximise the return for visitors and exhibitors alike.  MTec is the showcase of test, measurement and instrumentation and attracts quality control and assurance engineers from a wide variety of high technology industries including medical device.  Machine Building and Automation attracts engineers from companies building automation systems, many with applications in medical device and pharmaceutical industries.  IPOT is the forum for imaging and machine vision and attracts design, manufacturing, and test engineers, many from medical technology companies.  Finally Practical Vacuum offers the leading suppliers in vacuum technology, another technology with multiple applications in the medical device manufacturing industry.

The 2008 exhibition layout has been improved, allowing visitors to these co-located events to easily access MEDTEC.  As a result, exhibitors can expect a greatly enhanced return on their exhibition investment.

MEDTEC UK 2008—Now supported by two premier trade and professional associations

MEDTEC is newly endorsed by two prominent professional and trade organizations for 2008, the Manufacturing Technologies Association and the Institute of Measurement and Control.  MTA is the UK’s premier trade association whose membership comprises companies working in the advanced manufacturing industry, particularly in metal product manufacturing.  The Institute of Measurement and Control is a professional association whose membership comprises the most qualified engineers employed in quality assurance in the country.  Both organisations will be inviting their membership to attend MEDTEC 2008!
