The five states surrounding the event—Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Michigan—are home to 1800 medical OEM facilities annually producing $20 billion worth of medical devices and equipement. MD&M Midwest will feature 275 leading medical OEM suppliers and will be atteded by an audience of 4,000 R&D staff, design and manufacturing engineers, manufacturing and operations managers, product and project managers and QA/QC staff.

Ideal Venue
MD&M Midwest is ideally located at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center 2 miles from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport  and very accessible by car. This exhibitor friendly facility is a pleasure to work in and a variety of first-rate hotels and great restaurants are within walking distance. The city of Rosemont is also in the process of building a new multi-million dollar City Walk with new hotels, restaurants, theatres and nightlife attractions opening in 2008.

New OEM Audience
MD&M events have traditionally delivered the west coast (MD&M West), east coast (MD&M East) and Twin Cities “Medical  Alley” (MD&M Minneapolis) regions to their exhibitors. Now, for the first time, exhibitors will connect with hundreds of Midwest medical device producers that have never attended any event produced by Canon Communications.  The MD&M Midwest attendee campaign will reach more than 40,000 pre-qualified medical OEM professionals.

Co-located event deliver thousands of bonus attendees
Following Canon's West and East Coast co-located event model, the Assembly Technology Expo, including its new Quality feature, National Manufacturing Week/Nat'l Design Show, and Plastics USA/PLASTEC Midwest tradeshows will join MD&M Midwest. The overall show attracts more than 40,000 design and manufacturing professionals and showcases 2,000 exhibiting companies.
