CANON COMMUNICATIONS, the leading producer of trade events serving the nation's $1 trillion advanced manufacturing marketplace, will again present the Green Manufacturing Expo (GMX) West in 2010. The 2008 inaugural event featured a dedicated show area, as well as participation from 300 hundred of additional exhibitors located throughout the overall co-located event. All participants were highlighted in the show directory, in the attendee pocket planner, in the Google-powered "Find It!" search engines, and in a special "Green Supplier" show directory addendum. The 2009 show now features nearly 500 "Green" participants throughout the entire event. No other manufacturing event reaches so many advanced manufacturing specialists, and California leads the way in "green" manufacturing.
More then 45,000 plant managers, facilities managers, engineering managers, operations managers, production and manufacturing managers, packaging and process engineers, project managers, design engineers, purchasing staff, general corporate managers, municipalities, and government agencies will gather at the Anaheim Convention Center in 2010.
Green manufacturing is a growing reality, and going green reduces cost, improves process efficiency, and spurs the development of new green, eco-friendly products for an eager and growing marketplace. GMX West provides manufacturers with all the necessary information and tools to take advantage of the latest products and technologies to improve their processes. The economic benefit of "going green" is very tangible in terms of reducing energy costs, improving recycling and treatment methods, getting ahead of the regulatory curve, and building customer good will.
GMX West exhibitors include leading design software providers; materials and packaging suppliers; machinery, subassemblies, and components; wind, solar, and renewable energy systems manufacturers; energy management software providers; emission treatment equipment providers; waste water treatment systems producers; industrial recycling equipment manufacturers; environmental R&D firms; consulting firms; and a range of related service providers.
Green Packaging Pavilion
With sustainability playing an ever-increasing role in packaging, companies can realize significant benefits through a variety of green initiatives—from reductions in waste and materials used, to efficiencies in manufacturing and transportation, to recovery and reuse efforts. The Green Packaging Pavilion will feature the tools and technologies needed to embrace sustainability: bio-degradable/compostable packaging, recyclable packaging, reusable packaging; recycled materials, non-toxic glues, natural inks, environmentally-friendly coatings, biopolymer packaging, and much more.
GMX West is a feature of the West's largest design and manufacturing trade show. The overall seven-show event includes 3,000 exhibitors and attracts more than 45,000 manufacturing professionals from across the entire spectrum of West Coast manufacturing. One badge gives attendees access to the total event.
